The New Zealand basketballer Steven Adams has had an influential game as his NBA team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, beat the visiting Denver Nuggets 117-96.
In his 23 minutes of court time, starting at centre, Adams scored 10 points - his second-highest NBA haul - and grabbed six rebounds, along with six steals.
The Thunder's MVP candidate Kevin Durant scored 27 points to bring his streak of scoring more than 25 points in a game to 35 straight - only five away from Michael Jordan's record run of 40, the most in the past 50 years.
