The Black Caps captain Brendon McCullum has once again played down any suggestions of retirement.

McCullum and New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White announced on Thursday the upcoming summer of Cricket here in New Zealand that includes series against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Australia.
The dates and venues for the three series were also confirmed and include a Boxing Day ODI against Sri Lanka at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
Should Brendon McCullum stay match fit, during the upcoming summer of cricket in New Zealand he will become the first player in Test history to play 100 consecutive test matches since his debut.
McCullum, who sat out the tour of Africa which wrapped up in South Africa on Thursday morning, has quashed any suggestions of an upcoming retirement.
"I'm very much committed to New Zealand Cricket for the next 12 months as all the guys are. Looking at this schedule there's some really exciting opposition in front of us as well so hopefully we can build on what we've done through last year and also the World Cup and continue to drive this team forward and keep our performances improving."
McCullum said the side is heading in the right direction following their tour of Africa.
"I thought from a development point of view and the performances we were able to put out I thought it was a really good series for us and I'm sure over the coming 12 months there's going to many opportunities for those guys who were over there to once again represent us," McCullum said.
The series in New Zealand starts in mid-December against Sri Lanka.
