Govt ministers resign

09:34 am on 11 February 2013

Three government ministers in Tunisia have resigned.

A BBC correspondent in Tunis said the resignations deepen a political crisis brought on by the assassination of an opposition lawyer last Wednesday.

After the killing, Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali said he wanted to form a government of technocrats.

However, his Ennahda party is opposed to a non-partisan cabinet.
