New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has won her first tournament as a professional.
The 16-year-old finished with a three-under par 69 to finish 11-under at the World Ladies Masters in Taiwan, to win US$150,000 (NZ$181,000).
Ko had already won four professional tournaments before turning professional in October, but because of her amateur status at the time, she had to give up more than $1 million in prize money.
She finished three strokes ahead of Korean professional So Yeon Ryu with world No. 1 Inbee Park a further shot back in third place.
