Napier police are looking for two people thought to have been involved in a stabbing on Wednesday night.
A man was critically injured when he was stabbed on Wai Whatu Street in Meeanee at about 8.40pm.
He was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Initial enquiries indicated the stabbing was family harm-related, police said.
