A staff member has been assaulted in an aggravated robbery of a Christchurch dairy early this morning.
The police were called after three people entered the Night and Day on Riccarton Road about 4.30am.
They assaulted the attendant before fleeing with cash and cigarettes.
The attendant had minor injuries but didn't require medical attention, police said.
They're asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who has information to get in touch.
