The New Zealand Drug Foundation is today launching an online tool to help people cut back or stop using cannabis.

The tool, produced by NZDF, and funded by the Ministry of Health, features stories of cannabis use and people's journey through treatment.

NZDF executive director Ross Bell says the the tool adds to the number of ways people can access help if they're struggling with cannabis dependence.

It was launched at NZDF's cannabis symposium in Auckland, which started on Wednesday and ends Friday.

The Wireless senior producer Megan Whelan is at the conference, and we'll be looking at these issues in more depth in a couple of months. In the meantime, you can follow along as she live-tweets some of the speakers.
