A person has been seriously injured in what appears to be a stabbing incident in Auckland's Papakura.
Police were called to the incident on Subway Road shortly before 8pm on Sunday.
The person's injuries were consistent with stab wounds, police said.
Meanwhile, Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter's weekend mission report showed that a male patient in his 30s was treated by the rapid response vehicle crew at 7.58pm.
He was in a critical condition and suffering an injury from a knife.
Police said they had carried out a scene examination overnight and were working to find those responsible.
