Marlborough District Council will cease using QR codes at its facilities from this weekend, following the government announcement that they are no longer mandatory.

The council will no longer require people to show a vaccine pass to enter libraries and will also review its vaccination policy for staff.
Chief executive Mark Wheeler said people had been respectful when dealing with council staff and adapting to the changes over the last few months.
"I'd also like to thank council staff for going above and beyond. All staff have had to be flexible and work in new ways to maintain health and safety.
"Council was able to maintain all of its essential services."
Due to high rates of Omicron in the community, the council's current safety protocols for staff will remain for now.
They included maintaining team bubbles, remote working, mask wearing and conducting meetings virtually whenever possible.
The protocols will be reviewed in two weeks' time.
