Maritime authorities in Fiji have seized the ships of one of the country's interisland ferry companies.
Goundar Shipping Limited provides shipping services to most of Fiji's outer islands.
The Fiji Maritime Authority said the company had failed to comply with safety and environmental regulations.
The authority's acting chief executive, Philip Hill, said Goundar Shipping has had more than a year to comply with the regulations.
With the deadline having passed yesterday, he said the company's been ordered to stop operating its vessels.
