A Waikato kura has won the National Secondary Schools Kapa Haka competition in Gisborne.
Over the past five days, secondary schools from throughout New Zealand have been performing on stage in Gisborne in front of lively audiences.
Huntly's Te Kura o Rakaumangamanga were judged the winners and receive $2500.
Second place went to Rotorua Boys' High School team Raukura, while Auckland's Western Springs College kapa haka team Nga Puna o Waiorea were third.
