The New Zealand Superannuation Fund is investing $75 million in an American energy efficient window maker.
The $30 billion-plus dollar super fund, which was set up to help fund the country's future superannuation bill, is taking a stake in the dynamic-tinting glass maker, View.
The Fund's head of international direct investment, Nigel Gormly, will take a seat on the company's board.
He said the fund's money would help View grow, while the potential long term gains fits into its remit.
"What this company has done has really delivered in a commercial form that is really successful and their manufacturing facilities are improving dramatically," he said.
