More countries urged to accept refugees

The United Nations has appealed for more countries to resettle refugees.

The UN says it does not have enough places for people who cannot stay in the countries to which they originally fled.

It says many refugees live in developing countries where they have no possibility of integration, and it is not safe for them to stay.

Most resettled refugees go to the United States, Canada and Australia - with Europe taking only 6%.

Last year, most of the people needing to be relocated came from Iraq, Myanmar and Bhutan.
