Four youths have been arrested over the ram-raid of a commercial premises in Nelson this morning.
Police said officers were called about the ram-raid just before 7am on Sunday.
The offenders stole goods from the building on Ellis Street just before 7am.
About 10.15am, police received a report of a car being driven erratically on Grahams Road and later crashing into another vehicle, police said.
The occupants tried to run away but were caught, a spokesperson said.
Those arrested are aged between 13 and 15, and will be referred to youth services.
