A former teacher of Dilworth School has been sentenced today to six years in prison for historic sex abuses.
Howard Wynyard appeared in the High Court in Auckland today facing two charges of indecent assault and nine charges of indecency during his time at Dilworth School.
Wynyard was a teacher between 1977 and 1983 and a senior housemaster from 1980 to 1983.
Dilworth Trust Board chairperson Aaron Snodgrass said the school's response would include redress for survivors.
