Last month the Australian Federal Police announced, that after a five year investigation, a Sydney man was jailed for bribing Nauru public officials.

The man's company, Radiance International, had been seeking access to Nauru's remaining phosphate resources.

The investigation uncovered that more than $AU100,000 was paid out in bribes between August 2015 and July 2017.

RNZ Pacific asked the Nauru Government whether any action had been taken against the officials who had received the bribes.

But an official said the government was not making a comment on the matter at this time.
