If you're getting calls from unknown overseas numbers, don't answer.

That's the message from Vodafone, after customers began getting numerous calls from a scam company in the UK.
Susan McCarty of Auckland has been getting calls on a daily basis for the past few weeks.
"It varies. Sometimes it's twice a day and then other times you can get one call and then they'll skip a couple of days and then you'll get another call.
I'm ignoring them now, it's just annoying."
She said she's trying to block them when they come through, but it's proving difficult as they call from different numbers.
She said some of her colleagues are getting calls as well, and have told her that when they answer, there is no answer on the other end.
Vodafone are aware of the calls, and warn customers to not answer the phone if the number is unknown.
