England set massive total in final Ashes

16:00 pm on 5 January 2014

Australia have finished their final batting innings of the Ashes series all out for 276, and with a lead of 448.

After resuming their second innings on day three of the fifth Test in Sydney on 140 for 4, opener Chris Rogers top scored with 119 before the hosts were dismissed shortly after lunch.

In reply, the England captain Alistair Cook continued his miserable form of the series edging one to the keeper off Mitchell Johnson for 7 after only facing 12 deliveries.

Australia have a four-nil lead in the five match series and are widely expected to deliver a clean sweep.
