The US District Court for the CNMI has subpoenaed the records custodian of Imperial Pacific International to appear on the 30th of January.

The subpoena orders the custodian to provide any communications, documents or records between Imperial Pacific and the governor relating to the transfer or exchange of anything of value.

It also asked for any document summarising cash transactions or donations to the Friends of Ralph organisation or to any other political campaigns on or after 1 September, 2013.

Last week, the FBI searched the offices of the Governor, Imperial Pacific and a realty company, as well as several apartments.

Mr Torres' home and vehicle were also searched.
