It's not yet known how many people are in a vehicle that crashed into water at Rotorua this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to State Highway 30 near Lake Rotoma about 12.40pm following a report of a single vehicle crash.
Efforts are now under way to lift the vehicle out of the water.
The Police Dive Squad is due to arrive tomorrow morning and a scene guard will be in place overnight.
