In Parliament on Friday, Powes Parkop said that although churches and non-government organisations had built shelters and organisations to deal with street kids, he questioned the government's position on disadvantaged children.

Meanwhile, EMTV reports another MP, Robert Ganim, asking if the policy on disadvantaged children was nearing completion, as it has taken almost a year to compile a report.

The minister, Delilah Gore says her ministry will complete the report soon.
