Fatal sinking case adjourned in PNG

The Papua New Guinea trial regarding the MV Rabaul Queen, which sank in 2012 killing more than 170 people, has been adjourned until June.

23 prosecution witnesses have so far testified against Rabaul Shipping managing director Peter Sharp and the captain Anthony Tsiau, who are charged with manslaughter and sending an unseaworthy vessel to sea.

The witnesses include survivors and family members of those who went missing at sea during the sinking off the coast of Morobe on February 2nd, 2012.
