A Fiji Airways flight was forced to return to Singapore due to mechanical issues.
The Airbus A330 departed for Nadi early Tuesday morning but returned after flight crew recognised there was a problem.
The plane landed in Singapore without incident according to the Fiji Village.
Fiji Airways said passengers are being accommodated in hotels while they wait for another flight.
The company said the safety of travellers and crew is of paramount importance and it has apologised for the inconvenience.
