Appeal in Tonga's Fungavaka case

A former police inspector in Tonga who was jailed for his part in the maslaughter of New Zealand police officer Kali Fungavaka in 2012 is appealing his conviction and sentence.

Kelepi Hala'ufia was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 11 years in prison by the Supreme Court earlier this year.

Matangi Tonga reports a judgement will be delivered on the 31st of October.
