Three men with gang connections have been arrested and charged after an aggravated burglary and kidnapping in Southland last week.
Police said the incident happened in the early hours of 19 November.
The trio aged 31, 36 and 39 were arrested today in relation to those incidents, after police carried out search warrants in the area.
They are due to appear in Invercargill District Court tomorrow.
Another 36-year-old man arrested yesterday will reappear in court on Friday on charges of aggravated burglary, kidnapping, and firearms charges.
Police said they were not ruling out further arrests or charges as inquiries were ongoing.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Baird said gang activity in Southland was always closely scrutinised, they would "take a firm and proactive approach to any offending."
