One person has died in a crash in Karioitahi near Waiuku today.
At 8.30am a caller reported seeing a car submerged in water near the intersection of Awhitu Road and Mayhead Road.
Emergency services found a woman dead in the car.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are under way, police said.
