A corruption complaint laid by Fiji's Opposition leader against a government tender has been found to have no merit.
The Independent Commission Against Corruption said it found no wrongdoing on the government's part.
Last month, Sodelpa leader Sitiveni Rabuka complained that the procurement for a restructure of the state-owned dairy company, Rewa Dairy, was done arbitrarily.
Mr Rabuka said the government had failed to comply with financial procurement procedures when it appointed consultants for a company restructure.
He said the contract was awarded to the company Aliz Pacific without a tender process.
But in its decision released today, the FICAC said the process was carried out independently of the government, and Mr Rabuka's allegation of Cabinet involvement had no merit.
