The national netball selectors have opted for an extended Silver Ferns squad to compete in the Test series against Australia starting on Sunday in Melbourne.
Captain Julie Seymour has been included in the squad, but has been ruled out of the first Test with an Achilles injury.
Leana de Bruin was unavailable for selection due to personal reasons.
Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken has opted to provide additional cover across the midcourt roles with the selection of new cap Wendy Telfer and the inclusion of her Southern Steel team-mate Liana Barrett-Chase.
Silver Fern squad members Anna Thompson and Erika Burgess will travel to Brisbane as training partners to assist in the preparation for the 2nd Test against Australia in
Brisbane on November 2nd.
