A child is in critical condition after a crash on Auckland's North Shore.
Emergency services attended the scene of the crash on Onewa Road in Northcote after it was reported to police about 8.25am.
Police said the child, a pedestrian, was taken to hospital.
A section of the road was closed while emergency services were at the scene but has since reopened.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
