The top baby names of 2023 have been revealed and Noah and Charlotte take the top spots.
Oliver and Luca were also in the top 3 for boys, while Amelia and Isla were in the top 3 for girls.
Other popular choices included Leo, Jack, Theodore and Hudson for boys and Hazel, Willow and Harper for girls.
18,666 different names were given to 57,889 babies in 2023, up from 18,041 the previous year.
All the top names for the year can be viewed on the SmartStart website which has lists dating back to 1954.
The top Māori names would be released at Matariki, while the top names for 2022 were Aroha and Aria for girls and Ariki and Nikau for boys.
