A weeklong workshop is underway in the Tongan capital Nuku'alofa as part of a project by the Catholic Women's League for legal literacy.
Participants have been selected from various
departments, non-government organisations as well as other bodies who are said to be stakeholders in the overall human rights and democracy process in Tonga.
The Chief Legal Resource Trainer from Fiji, Filipo
Masaurua says the course will look at the human rights
and democracy, family laws, and how to use the information as a tool for advocacy.
