Six men charged with the attempted murder of a man just before Christmas can now be named.
Jagraj Singh, Hardeep Singh Sandhu, Jobanpreet Singh, Sarveet Sandhu, Jaspal Singh and Gurbinder Singh appeared in the Auckland High Court this morning before Justice Moore.
They each pleaded not guilty to one charge of attempted murder of a man in Wattle Downs in South Auckland late on 23 December.
All had interim name suppression but this lapsed at the appearance this morning with no applications for further suppression.
The man was taken to hospital with critical injuries. He has now been released from hospital but has serious injuries.
The men aged between 24 and 39 are being held in custody, and were arrested nearly a month after the alleged incident.
A four-week trial is set down for February next year.
