Trio rescued after West Coast crash

15:49 pm on 14 September 2016

Three women have been rescued after the car they were driving went over a bank on the West Coast.

The Fire Service said emergency services were alerted shortly before 1pm that a car had gone off the road about 8km south of Charleston.

The car, which had dropped about 3m down the bank, had been secured and the three adults were now safe, it said.

St John Ambulance said staff were at the scene but, as there were no injuries, it did not tend to the occupants.
