The first grand finalist in this year's Young Farmer contest has been confirmed.
A 29-year-old Winton share-milker Steve Henderson, won the Otago-Southland Regional Final in Queenstown at the weekend.
It was his third attempt at the Regional Final level of the contest.
He will be off to the national grand final in Taupo in July.
Second place went to 25-year-old Waipahi sheep farmer, Logan Wallace.
Riverton dairy farmer John White, was third.
