New Zealand winery Allan Scott has won a contract to export more than 200,000 bottles of wine to China.
The wine is destined for high-end restaurants and premium hotel chains throughout the country.
Managing director Allan Scott says the export agreement is a major coup for the winery and capitalises on the burgeoning interest in white wines in China.
Mr Scott says the initial shipment will include the company's sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot noir and méthode traditionnelle.
