Kiribati Got Talent is a new NGO targeting the youth and plans to use performing arts to promote messages of a sustainable future for the country.

The organisation will also be a platform for past participants who have competed in the annual music competition of Kiribati.

An advisor to the NGO, Ngaina Teiwaki says they are seeking support.

She says the response from the audience in music competitions is astonishing.

"The audience are really enjoying the show and they become emotional of their performance, but we realise that the young music talents, there's no opportunity for them to develop their talents are not there for them, so we would like to join together with interested parties with opportunities for them for better living."
