06:32 am on 21 July 2010

The New Zealand Under-20 women's footballers have ended their FIFA World Cup campaign with a 4-1 loss to Brazil in Dresden.

Rosie White scored New Zealand's goal - her seventh in three age group FIFA events - in the 89th effort.

Brazil opened the scoring in the 25th minute and scored three second-half goals.

The South American champions also exit Germany at the group stage, pipped by Sweden and Korea DPR.

Brazil's fate was sealed in Augsburg where Sweden edged already-qualified Korea DPR 3-2 to book their place in the second round and top the group.
