State Highway 6 is blocked near Owen River, north of Murchison, after two trucks lost control in icy conditions this afternoon.

A log truck has rolled and a second truck has jack-knifed, with logs spilled across the highway.
The driver of the log truck was initially trapped in the cab and has since been airlifted to hospital.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours, and police are warning motorists to drive with extreme caution as roading conditions in the region are treacherous.
