Hurricanes without 4 All Blacks

11:50 am on 26 March 2015

The Hurricanes will be without four of their All Blacks for this Friday's Super Rugby clash with the Melbourne Rebels in Wellington.

Hooker Dane Coles is still recovering from an elbow injury, while prop Ben Franks, first-five Beauden Barrett and winger Julian Savea are all sitting out the game as a part of the two-game stand-down All Blacks are required to have.

James Marshall gets his first start in the No.10 jersey for the Hurricanes and coach Chris Boyd has full confidence in him and the other changes.

Motu Matu'u and Ben May start in the front row, Callum Gibbons starts on the openside flank for the injured Ardie Savea, James Marshall is at first five and Matt Proctor is on the left wing.

Halfback TJ Perenara will run on for his 50th match on Friday.

Perenara made his debut for the 'Canes against the Stormers in 2012, and has since racked up 105 points for the club by way of 21 tries.

The Hurricanes have won five games from five so far this season.
