New Zealand's Michael Venus and his Australian partner Matt Reid have taken out the doubles title of the US$15,000 (NZ$19,160) Futures 4 Tennis tournament in Bundaberg, Australia.
Venus and Reid were up against fellow New Zealander Rubin Statham and Canadian Erik Chvojka in the final, winning 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 taking out the third set tiebreak 10-4.
Venus also reached the singles semi-finals before going down to Chvojka 6-3 5-7 5-7.
Chvojka knocked out Statham in the quarterfinals 6-7(4) 4-6.
At the same venue, New Zealand women's player Sacha Jones lost her quarterfinal match against fourth seeded Australian Olivia Rogowska 6-0 6-7(5) 4-6 in the quarterfinals of the US$25,000 (NZ$32,000) Event.
Meanwhile New Zealand's Marina Erakovic is through to the singles final at the US$25,000 (NZ$32,000) ITF Event in Mississippi, after beating American Julia Boserup in the semi-finals 6-2 6-2.
She faces her Ajla Tomljanovic of Croatia in the final on Sunday night.
