A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in Argentina on Saturday.
Two people - a child and an elderly man - were killed in Salta province, in the northwest. Two other children were injured when masonry fell on them.
The Argentine monitoring service, INPRES, says the earthquake was not an aftershock from the magnitude 8.8 quake in Chile nine hours earlier.
