Te Puke hunter's body found

The body of a Te Puke hunter who went missing on the Kaituna River on Saturday evening has been found.

Coastguard and Maketu Surf Patrol found the body of Moko Riri Ngahu, 70, about 10am on Monday approximately 1km downstream from where he entered the water.

The death has been referred to the Coroner.
