One person has died after a two vehicle crash in Tauranga on Wednesday evening.
Police said they were notified of the crash on Takitimu Drive at about 7.30pm.
A second person was critically injured, they said.
The road was still closed at 9pm while the Serious Crash Unit examined the scene.
