Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old man was stabbed in Rotorua overnight.

He was taken to Rotorua Hospital after the stabbing outside a house on Frank Street at about 2.30am.
He is still in a critical condition.
Detective Sergeant Tony Colby said it was an isolated incident.
Police wanted to hear from anyone who was at that house or in the area early on Sunday morning, he said.
Cordons are in place.
