Four people are in hospital after a house fire in Waikato this morning.
Emergency services were called to a single-storey home on Dalmeny Street, in Tokoroa, just before 6am.
St John Ambulance said four people were taken to Tokoroa Hospital, one with serious injuries.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the house was "well-involved" in flames when they arrived but the fire had since been put out.
Three fire trucks were in attendance - two from Tokoroa and one from Putaruru.
They said the cause of the fire was still unknown but it was not believed to be suspicious.
The scene is being assessed.
