A man is in a stable condition in hospital after being trapped under the loading tray of his truck in a remote part of the Tararua District.
He suffered head, leg and back injuries while trying to load a bulldozer onto the back of the vehicle at Huia Road in Pongaroa, east of Pahiatua, about 9am on Saturday.
He was flown to Palmerston North Hospital.
