The morgue at Samoa's Malietoa Tanumafili II hospital in Savai'i has reopened after being closed for nearly four months.
The Samoa Observer reports that during that time the public has been forced to use a private mortuary.
The Ministry of Health says hospital management was forced to close the morgue due to issues with its air conditioning system.
The closure came after a refrigeration malfunction at the morgue forced a family to bury their son's body when it started to decompose in February.
