Two crashes in the same lane has caused traffic on Auckland's Southern motorway to come to a crawl.

A crash just after 8am blocked the southbound lane near the South Eastern Highway off ramp.
Just as that crash was cleared, a second occurred in the same lane.
The Transport Agency said the crashes were now cleared but there were delays on the motorway from Newmarket.
