Two firefighters have been taken to hospital after a blaze in West Auckland this afternoon, Fire and Emergency says.
Fire and Emergency (FENZ) crews were called about 2.45pm this afternoon to a blaze in Glendene.
A total of 18 trucks are at the fire, assisted by crews from multiple stations across Auckland.
St John said two people had sustained moderate injuries and FENZ confirming them to be members of their crew.
Another two people had been checked by medics.
An ambulance remained at the scene, they said.
FENZ said no surrounding properties had been evacuated and all people from the industrial building that was on fire had been accounted for.
Just after 6pm, FENZ said in a statement: "The Glendene fire is now under control and has been contained to one cell within the industial building, which has multiple occupants.
"Fire and Emergency appreciates the cooperation of workers in the area, which is heavily congested due to the number of fire appliances attending this incident."
