A fisher is missing after slipping and falling into the sea near Raglan this morning.

Waikato police were conducting a shoreline search at Ruapuke Beach which has now been call off for the day.
A police spokesperson said after spending the day trying to locate the person, the search was suspended due to weather conditions at sea.
An aerial search by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called off in the afternoon.
Its understood the person was fishing and slipped into the water about 9.30am.
The search will resume tomorrow depending on the weather.
